Auf seinem dritten Soloalbum stellt der in Berlin lebende Trompeter
Christoph Titz unter Beweis, dass er mehr denn durch konsequente
Entschleunigung und eine gewisse
Simplizität überzeugen kann. Nach den
Vorgängerwerken "Magic" (2004) und "When I Love" (2007) ein absolut
logischer Schritt… der noch dazu auf
dem eigenen Label Maroty Music
erscheint. "Here & Now" präsentiert sich als akustische Wundertüte: 15
tiefgehende Tracks, allesamt
aufgenommen und produziert um zuallerst
einmal den Künstler selber glücklich zu machen.
Christain von Kaphengst (Bass),Keyboarder Gero Körner sowie die
"Rhythmuszwillinge" Marc Lehan (Drums)
und Roland Peil (Percussion)
zaubern auf diesem neuen Titz-Album ein solides, aber enorm
leichtfüßiges Fundament für
Christoph's Spiel. Zusätzlich mit von der
Partie sind der schwedische Gitarrist Johan Leijonhufvud sowie
Johannes Henschel am Cello und Winnie
Kübart (Viola).
